Another blast hits southern Iraq
Another bomb blast has shaken Basra in southern Iraq, killing at least nine people and wounding 22 others as the bloody attacks spread across the country.
The explosion hit a busy market on Monday evening, a police source told Reuters.
The blast destroyed parts of at least four buildings and scattered body parts in the streets.
Earlier on Monday, a total of more than 20 attacks in different parts of the country claimed the lives of at least 70 people and wounded about 200 others.
