ZOF warplanes strike targets in Gaza
The Zionist occupation forces (ZOF) have escalated aggression on the Gaza Strip and used warplanes to launch on Saturday five pre-dawn raids against different targets in the Strip.
Local sources said reporter that the warplanes blasted a workshop in Zaitun suburb east of Gaza city completely destroying it and damaging nearby homes.
The sources noted that the warplanes launched four other raids on the Gaza airport east of Rafah south of the Strip targeting the remains of buildings previously destroyed by ZOF incursions and raids since 2002.
The ZOF command said that air force jets “bombed weapons-production sites in the northern Gaza Strip overnight Friday, as well as a smuggling tunnel in the south”.
The command added that the strike was a response to an attempted attack by Palestinians on Thursday near Nahal Oz, as well as the rocket fire towards Sderot on Friday.
