‘Armed Forces ready to defend Iran’
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi says Iran’s Armed Forces are geared up to defend their country against the enemy.
”Some Iranian weapons will be kept secret until the day comes to face the enemy,” Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi said on Sunday.
He added that the Iranian armed forces monitor the developments in various areas in order to defend the country against such developments.
“Cyber warfare is the Achilles heel of the enemies of Islamic Iran. The Iranian Armed Forces have very good cyberwar defense capabilities,” he argued.
Mousavi noted that strategic centers of the armed forces carry out futurology studies and their findings are used to reshape various sections of the Iranian Army.
The commander said human resources have the first say in the Iranian military because even the most modern equipment need a committed and faithful person to use them.
Iran has reached self-sufficiency in many areas of the defense industry in order to defend the country’s borders against the threats issued by the enemies of the Islamic Republic.
The Islamic Republic has repeatedly assured that its military might poses no threat to other countries, saying its defense doctrine is based on deterrence.
