‘Gates of Peace’ to be opened to Islam

American University is holding an event to open eyes on Islam, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Holy Qur’an.
In response to a hate preacher and an Islamophobe at University of Missouri, the Council on American-Islamic Relations is sponsoring an event to promote a greater understanding of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The event, called “Gates of Peace: Understanding Islam, the Quran, and Prophet Muhammad”, is mainly aims at a move against misconceptions on Muslims including the impression that Muslims as a whole are terrorists, murderers, wife-beaters and slave owners.
“Gates of Peace: Understanding Islam, the Quran, and the Prophet Muhammad” is to be held Tuesday afternoon at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Education.
