Iranian automaker IKCO named top industrial company

Leading Iranian automaker, Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) has been named the country’s top company for its highest level of sales, job creation and profitability.
IKCO was announced as the top Iranian company during the 14th conference of Iran’s Top 100 Companies organized by Industrial Management Institute (IMI).
Iran’s IMI 100 is the only center in the country which evaluates governmental and private companies based on 23 financial parameters.
IKCO was recently named the most prosperous Iranian industrial company with more than USD 30 billion in assets.
Founded in 1962, IKCO is currently regarded as the biggest automaker in the Middle East, which broke its monthly production record by producing 75,871 cars in November, 2011.
The Iranian company won an award from Tehran’s Third International Nanotechnology Festival as the leading company in nano-related auto industry.
