Al-Nusra terrorists ambushed in Maaloula; gunmen target civilians in three provinces
Syrian Arab Army has carried out an ambush in which it targeted members of al-Nusra Front around Maaloula. Meanwhile, militants targeted residential neighborhoods in Aleppo and Idlib with both locally-made shells and missiles.
Units of armed forces have ambushed al-Nusra Front members between towns of Maaloula and al-Qastal killing dozens of them; meanwhile, army members arrested others of the front’s gunmen.
SANA (Syrian Arab News Agency) pointed out that the ambush hit al-Nusra members who were heading to militant-held Maaloula city, which was raided weeks ago.
Insurgents shell Aleppo, Idlib and Homs
3 citizens were martyred and 4 others were injured after a mortar shell fired by gunmen landed in Thalathen street (thirty street), southwest of the city of Idlib.
Breaking News Network correspondent pointed out that the shell targeted the governor’s palace, which caused material damage to the building.
In Homs city, a woman was martyred and 13 citizens were injured due to an attack by a mortar shell on the residential district of al-Mahatta.
In Aleppo, a locally-made rocket hit Saif al-Daulah neighborhood, the thing that resulted in civilian injuries.
