Zionists torch Palestinians’ cars in West Bank

31 December 2013 13:38

342934_Price-tagSuspected Israeli extremists have set cars on fire in the West Bank overnight, after Tel Aviv released 26 Palestinian prisoners.

Israeli official Luba Samri said on Tuesday that the latest instance of vandalism and violence against Palestinians was an apparent “price tag” attack. Hate crimes carried out against Palestinians by Israeli extremists are referred to as price tag incidents.

At least three Palestinian cars were torched in the town of Jalzoun, north of Ramallah.

The Israeli settlers also spray-painted “blood will flow in Judea and Samaria,” and “this is war” on the wall of a nearby Palestinian house.

The hate crime took place shortly after the Palestinian prisoners were released in the early hours of Tuesday, which was the third of four planned stages for freeing Palestinian prisoners.

In October, Israeli settlers damaged five Palestinian vehicles in East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

On numerous occasions, Israeli extremists have carried out “price tag” attacks, targeting Palestinian properties, cars, mosques and olive trees. The perpetrators are rarely caught by Israeli security forces.
