Israel questions Iran’s nuclear program to deviate public: Zarif
Mohammad Javad Zarif in the conference questioned the meeting on threats of Israel’s massive nuclear arsenals and pointed to the fact that it is not even a member of Non-Proliferation Treaty. He added that Iran is a member of NPT and always opposed to nuclear weapons, believing that nuclear arms would threat the national security.
Zarif held that Israel’s campaign against Iran was a tactic to divert attentions from the real threat, which is Israel itself a threat to the Middle East and the whole world.
In the meeting Zarif also said that “the world is coping with extremism and violence which unfortunately rise terrorism.” He made hints to president Rouhani’s WAVE proposal that was recognized by the UN general assembly which suggests a World Against Violence and Extremism.
He called the NAM members to make joint efforts to thwart extremists to reduce tensions.

The 17th Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement opened in Algeria on May 29 and ends on Thursday with a theme of ‘Enhanced Solidarity for Peace and Prosperity.’
