‘Iran’s Air Defense keeping eye on future threats’
Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili on Monday hailed the country’s air defense, saying that Iran values its security and power.
According to Tasnim news agency, Brigadier General Esmaeili said on the sidelines of a ceremony in Tehran “Iran’s Air defense system is at a good point … and we are keeping a wary eye on future threats based on what we already have.”
He stressed “We put value on our security and power, and this is how we have managed to stand against Arrogance … 36 years after the Islamic Revolution.”
Brigadier General Esmaeili went on to say that achieving modern and advanced equipment is a prerequisite to resistance against arrogant powers.
In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and has attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.
As part of these accomplishments, Iran’s aerial defense has been able to build a big part of its equipment and arsenal by its own experts.
