Hezbollah slams ISIL’s Libya crime

Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, has condemned execution of Egyptian Coptic Christians by ISIL Takfiri terrorist group in Libya.

Nasrallah made the remarks in a speech delivered in commemoration of Hezbollah’s martyrs, Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas al-Mousawi and Hajj Imad Moughhnieh in Sayyed al-Shuhadaa Complex in Dahiyeh, located in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Monday night.

Condemning the brutality inherent in the execution of Egyptian Copts by ISIL, the Hezbollah leader extended his condolences to their families.

He urges all regional powers to put aside formalities and protocols and form a united front against terrorism, noting that the fate of the whole world is being determined in the Middle East region and Lebanon cannot disassociate itself from this fate.

The fate of Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Libya… are all interrelated, he added.

Head of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement also stated that Lebanon is still facing the repercussions of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri.
