Yemeni Army, Popular Forces Take Control of Military Base near Bab el-Mandeb
The Yemeni army took control of a military base overlooking the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea.
The Yemeni troops were backed by popular and tribal forces as they entered the military base.
Meantime, Ansarullah popular forces and the army are on the threshold of final victory in the strategic city of Aden, reports said on Tuesday night, adding that forces loyal to fugitive Yemeni president Mansour Hadi have retreated from most parts of the city.
Yemen has been the target of military aggression by a Saudi-led coalition since Thursday. More than 126 civilians, mainly women and children, have been killed and hundreds more have been injured in the attacks.
