Hamas calls for moving urgently against ISIL to save Yarmouk refugees
The Hamas Movement called for urgent intervention to save the residents of al-Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus from the clutches of extremist terrorist groups.
Senior Hamas official Ismail Radwan stated in press remarks to Quds Press that a humanitarian tragedy has been happening in the besieged Yarmouk camp for several years and needs to be addressed immediately.
Radwan urged the Palestinian Authority, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and all concerned parties to move urgently to save al-Yarmouk refugees, who are exposed to violations at the hands of invading armed terrorist groups.
“Our battle as Palestinians is with the occupation, so the Palestinian people in the diaspora must be treated with honor and respect and protected on any Arab land because they are guests on their way back to Jerusalem and Palestine,” the Hamas official said.
“The massacres being committed against our people in the blockaded Yarmouk camp must be stopped and all parties have to shoulder their responsibilities in this regard,” he added.
