S Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey support Nusra, ISIL: Commentator
‘US regional allies support ISIL, al-Nusra’
Press TV has interviewed Mimi al-Laham, a Syrian activist and political commentator in Australia, to discuss the attacks on the Palestinian Yarmouk camp in Syria by terrorist groups.
Al-Laham says that Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Turkey support both al-Nusra Front, which is affiliated with al-Qaeda, and the Takfiri ISIL terrorist group in Syria by giving them money or allowing Wahhabi mosques to collect money for them.
It is not only the ISIL but also al-Nusra Front that has been fighting Palestinians in the Yarmouk camp in Syria for years, she says, adding that the United Nations condemned ISIL for the Yarmouk incursion but there is no report of such a condemnation of al-Nusra Front.
The analyst concludes by saying that Israel is giving the al-Nusra terrorists medical aid and the problem is that the al-Nusra Front not only has links to Israel but also to Turkey and the United States.
