‘Iran’s defense doctrine is against usage of atomic bomb
The Spokesman for Iran’s Government, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, has reminded that there is no room for an atomic bomb in Iran’s defense doctrine. According to IRIB World Service, in a televised interview on Friday night, the Iranian government’s spokesman added that a number of countries have been and are after atomic bombs and some states possess atomic bombs.
But, Iran is solely interested in carrying out peaceful nuclear activities and has never been after nuclear weapons.
In further remarks, Nobakht said Islamic Republic of Iran is among a few countries, which maintain a complete nuclear fuel cycle and enrich uranium.
He also noted that Iran has always emphasized it is not after making an atomic bomb.
