Saudi Arabia sows seeds of enmity, grudge in Yemen: Rafsanjani
Chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanani says Saudi Arabia is sowing the seeds of enmity and grudge in Yemen as Riyadh proceeds with its brutal aggression against the southern Arabian Peninsula state.
According to Press TV, addressing a meeting with Iranian laborers in Tehran on Sunday, Rafsanjani denounced the continuation of Saudi Arabia’s airstrikes against Yemen, which he said, has undermined Muslim’s morale.
Rafsanjani further pointed to different rounds of talks between Iran and the P5+1 countries on Tehran’s nuclear program, saying a final agreement could be reached.
“Iran is willing and enjoys potential to interact with the world for the expansion of bilateral relations and cooperation,” he said.
The top Iranian official emphasized that a secure Iran will never cause trouble for any country and will even help maintain security in the region.
He recommended Western states to pay attention to remarks by Iranian officials instead of “evil insinuations” of the Zionist regime.
