Bomb attack against Revolutionary Nigerian Muslims
A suicide bomber was killed while trying to launch attack on Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria at their meeting and prayer point located at Saqafa Area in Potiskum, North-east Nigeria in Yobe State. The incidence occurred on Monday 20th April, 2015, around 5:30pm local time.
Eyewitness said, the bomber was carrying the explosive concealed in a DVD machine and was trying to force his way into the place where students of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky were preparing for evening prayers when the bomb detonated.
Only the bomb carrier was killed, however ten people were reported injured. Two of the injured were passing by the area when the incident occurred.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at a hospital, some were discharged.
It could be recalled that on July 30, 2014 another bomb exploded at the same place when members of the Islamic Movement were performing Maghrib prayers, as a result of which 4 people were martyred and scores injured.
Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under His Eminence Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky have been targets of attack by Nigerian security forces and through activities of ‘insurgents’ in the country.
Last November at least 15 people were killed and dozens injured from a suicide attack on Ashura festival procession in Potiskum, which marks the death of Hussein, grandson of the Prophet Mohammed
On May 2, 2015, the Nigerian military forces launched a merciless attack on members of the Movement in Kaduna, residence of the Ameer (Markaz), which left one dead, four injured.
Shaikh Zakzaky has been prime target of these attacks, which failed on several occasions.

Some of them have been discharged
It would be recalled that few months ago another bomb was targetted on the members of the Islamic Movement in the same place while conductiing maghrib prayers.
