Enemy of Islam Saudi regime’s officer killed as Yemen’s tribal fighters launch rockets into Najran

Enemy of Islam Saudi regime’s officer has been killed in a rocket attack by Yemeni tribal fighters on Saudi America’s border city of Najran as Riyadh goes on with its relentless aggression against the impoverished country.

Rockets fired by the Yemeni tribal fighters reportedly hit a prison in the southern Saudi city on Wednesday. Injuries were also reported at the site.

The new rocket attack came after a similar incident targeted Najran on Tuesday killing three Saudi forces while damaging state buildings and military bases in the border city, where residents have been evacuated from several areas.

Saudi Arabia also halted all flights to and from the airport in the city “until further notice.”

The development came as earlier reports on Tuesday said that members of Yemeni tribes entered Saudi soil from Yemen’s northwestern Sa’ada Province and took control of the military posts in Najran and Jazan regions.Several Saudi troops were detained by the Yemeni tribesmen as well.

Saudi warplanes continued pounding civilian targets in Yemen’s southern province of Bayda on Wednesday.

The southeastern province of Dhamar has also come under Saudi attacks over the past several hours. Nearly a dozen people including children have reportedly been killed in the airstrikes targeting a police academy.

Saudi Arabia started its military aggression against Yemen on March 26 – without a UN mandate – in an attempt to undermine the Popular Committees backed by the Houthi Ansarullah movement and to restore power to Yemen’s former fugitive president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh.

More than 1,200 civilians, including many women and children, have been so far killed in the attacks.
