Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed S. Khamanei warns over political, economic war
Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Ayatollah Khamenei has said while the country is not engaged in a military war, threats of political, security and economic war persist.
Receiving the staff members of the Congress of commemorating the 3,000 martyrs in Semnan Province, Ayatollah Khamenei maintained commemorating the martyrs and keeping their memories alive is the nation’s duty to uphold.
Elsewhere in his speech, he cautioned the nation to be wary of political, economic, security and cultural war with which the country is engaged; “being unaware of the possibility of such wars by enemy, being unaware of whenabouts and whereabouts of the attack will simply ensure our defeat.”
The Leader stressed, however, that warning about the ‘cultural war’ or ‘economic war’ does not contradict the sense of security and peace in the country. “We seek to maintain a sense of security, but this does not contradict our assessment that the enemy is waging war on us in a special tactic,” he said, urging awareness of the current state of affairs and the existing war in the fields of economy, culture and politics.
