36 ISIL Terrorists Killed by Iraqi Police in Northern Parts of Tikrit

8 July 2015 17:50

An Iraqi police source confirmed that the country’s forces defended their positions against the ISIL terrorists in al-Fatha in the Northern parts of Tikrit and killed at least 20 fighters in the battlefront and 16 others on board a boat on Tikrit river.

“The forces of the federal police repelled an attack by the ISIL Takfiri terrorists in the nearby areas of al-Fatha, located in Northern Tikrit, which resulted in the killing of 20 terrorists and the destruction of three vehicles and a boat with 16 ISIL militants on board,” the source said.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
