Jurisprudents call people for Int’l Quds Day rally
Two top Iranian jurisprudents stress importance of international Al Quds Day rally calling people to participate in the ceremony as a part of their prayers for the holy month of Ramadan.
Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, Iranian Shia jurisprudent, hailed the initiation by late Imam Khomeini (RA) to name the last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan as international Al Quds Day calling people to participate in the ceremony, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The cleric noted the global influence of people’s participation in Al Quds Day rally saying that,” At present the Zionist regime has relaxed in a safe place while waging war among Muslims; therefore, no Muslim has to ignore the importance of international Al Quds Day and participation in the ceremony is a part of their Ramadan prayers.”
Grand Ayatollah Jafar sobhani, another prominent Iranian Shia cleric also stressed necessity of Muslims maintaining their unified participation in the international Al Quds Day rally.
He called the international Al Quds Day as a memoir of the late founder of Islamic Revolution and noted freedom of Al Quds Mosque as the objective for the inspiration by Imam Khomeini (RA).
He quoted late Imam Khomeini (RA) calling the leaders of Islamic states to join for confrontation against the Zionist regime of Israel and highlighted the importance of participation in the international Al Quds Day rally.
