“Observing Al-Quds day rally is one of the roadmaps for promoting unity among Muslims,” said the grandson of the late Imam Khomeini (RA).
The grandson of the late Imam Khomeini (RA), Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Morteza Ashraqi in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) on the sideline of Al-Quds day rally beckoned to the establishment of Al-Quds day rally by the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini, who mandated it, be held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramdhan every year to ensure the cause of Palestine would never be forgotten or downplayed.
Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Morteza Ashraqi went on to say, “This day is the day of Islam which was always emphasized by the late Imam (RA).”
“Observing and holding rally in various spots across the world in siding with the innocent people of Palestine can awake people worldwide to the scale of oppression and vandalism of Zionism regime,” said the religious cleric.
“Al-Quds day really is one of the pivot point of rapprochement among Islamic sects that finally leads to unity among Muslims,” said Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Morteza Ashraqi.
“All Muslims should unify unanimously against tyrants and the greedy of those who aim at denying the right of Islamic nations,” pointed out the grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
