Commander: Over 1,000 ISIL Terrorists Killed in Beiji in 1 Month
“The Iraqi volunteer forces killed more than 1,000 ISIL militants in just one month of fighting against the Takfiri terrorists in Beiji,” Commander of Salahuddin Brigade Asham al-Jabouri said on Sunday.
Al-Jabouri reiterated that there is a good cooperation between Iraqi volunteer forces and Salahuddin police in conducting joint mop up operations against the terrorists.
Beiji, located 40 kilometers to the North of Tikrit, has been the scene of heavy clashes between Iraqi force and Takfiri terrorists in recent weeks.
Beiji is located in Salahuddin province and 210 kilometers to the North of Baghdad. Iraq’s biggest oil refinery is located in Beiji.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.
Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
