Marches in Germany and Austria marking “Quds Day”
Scores of people on Saturday participated in marches staged in Berlin and Vienna on the occasion of the International Quds Day.
About one thousand people rallied in the Adenauer square in the German capital Berlin before marching along the boulevard of Kurfurstendamm in protest at Israel’s occupation of Quds and its violations against the Palestinians.
The participants, including anti-Israeli Orthodox Jews, chanted slogans and carried banners supporting Palestine and condemning Israel.
A similar demonstration was also organized on the same day in the Austrian capital Vienna.
Over 300 people, including Arabs and Iranians living in Austria, participated in the protest rally.
The protestors carried pictures showing Israel’s violations against the Palestinians amid chants calling for ending the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
