Zionist Israeli jailers release Palestinian Hero Khader Adnan
Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan, a prominent Islamic Jihad official, extracted his freedom at dawn Sunday after 55 days of hunger strike in protest at his administrative detention.
Adnan told his family over the phone at an early hour today that he would be released within a few hours.
The prisoner had gone on hunger strike for 55 consecutive days before he suspended it on June 29 following an Israeli pledge to release him before the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In 2012, his heroic hunger strike for 67 days forced his jailers to release him following a deal with his lawyer.
However, Adnan was later arrested again in 2014 at an Israeli military checkpoint in Jenin city before he started his recent hunger strike last May to protest an extension of his administrative detention.
