Iran’s Majlis speaker rejects gradual sanctions relief in nuclear conclusion
Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani has rejected claims that sanctions against the Islamic Republic will be removed in phases as part of the conclusion of nuclear talks between Tehran and the 5+1 group.
According to Press TV, Larijani said during a session of parliament on Wednesday the claims by certain officials of the 5+1 group that sanctions will be phased out is probably their own wishes because the text of the conclusion does not indicate such a thing.
Larijani said that such claims are aimed at solving the internal problems of those countries.
The top parliamentarian said that the conclusion of the talks further isolates “evil” elements of the region, including Zionist regime, and opens new horizons for more cooperation between the Islamic Republic and regional as well as Islamic countries.
