Syrian Troops Target ISIL Terrorists in Sweida
Syrian army troops targeted positions of the ISIL terrorists in Sweida province on Wednesday, inflicting heavy casualty on the militants.
A number of ISIL terrorists were killed in a military operation in al-Qasr village, a military source said, adding that a mortar launcher and several vehicles equipped with machineguns belonging to the terrorists were destroyed.
The army also clashed with ISIL Takfiri militants moving from the direction of Khirbet Saad towards Tal al-Bouthaina, and killed scores of the militants and injured others, and destroyed their arms and ammunition.
Syria has been battling foreign-sponsored militants since March 2011. The violence fueled by Takfiri terrorist groups has so far left over 230,000 people dead.
