Hezbollah, Syrian Army Advance in Zabadani, Capture 3 Terrorists
Hezbollah and the Syrian army have advanced further into al-Zabadani city, tightening the noose around the militant organizations in the middle of the city and capturing 3 terrorists.
The military source explained to SANA that the army units and the Resistance forces have stepped up operations on various axes in the city, located to the north-west of Damascus, making advances from several directions.
Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that the army units and the Resistance forces are combing several areas they had earlier taken control of in central al-Zabadani city.
The sources noted that the terrorist Ziad Nassif, a group’s leader within the so-called “Hamza Bin Abdul-Muttalib Battalions” was killed during operations on Friday.
The military operation in al-Zabadani, which is 11 km away from the Lebanese border, has continued for five weeks, during which the army and the Lebanese Resistance have inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists.
The Syrian army also continued its operations against the terrorist groups in the various provinces, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
