Senior Commander: Iranian Army Ready to Give Crushing Response to Enemies
“The Islamic Republic’s Army is at the highest level of power and will make any aggressor and enemy regret its deeds,” Commander of Isfahan, Yazd and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces Brigadier General Reza Jahadi Orsi told reporters in Tehran on Monday.
He, meantime, stressed Iran’s peace-seeking policies and its non-aggression against other countries, and said, “History shows that any country and enemy who has made an aggression against Iran, the Iranian nation has chased that enemy and has not allowed it to rest until its annihilation.”
In relevant remarks in May, Iranian Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan underscored that the Armed Forces would give swift and proportional response to any enemy threats.
“The Army and the Armed Forces enjoy full combat preparedness and their fingers are on the trigger and if the enemy makes an aggression against the Islamic Republic’s sacred lands, they will kill the move in the bud,” Pourdastan told reporters on the sidelines of massive wargames, codenamed Beit ul-Moqaddas 27, in the Western parts of the country at the time.
He reiterated the country’s power and its Armed Forces’ crushing and proper response to any possible threat.
Pourdastan also addressed the friendly and neighboring countries, and said, “We can monitor any hostile force that plans to step into this region and stand against their threats.”
Also in April, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces in a statement vowed to remove any kind of threat posed to the country and its Islamic Revolution.
“The brave and grateful nation of Islamic Iran and the Armed Forces are ready to stand powerfully and decisively against any possible threat to the Islamic Revolution and Islamic Establishment vigilantly and smartly and under the guidelines of the Supreme Leader and give a remorseful response to the enemies of our dear Iran,” said the statement which was issued to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Lieutenant General Ali Sayyad Shirazi.
