Hezbollah Official: Strategic Views of Imam Khamenei Made Iran Powerful

Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement’s second-in-command hailed Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei as “a reviver of Islam”, saying that the Leader’s strategic views have made Iran a regional power.

Speaking at a ceremony to unveil his new book titled “Revival Leader” in Tasnim’s head office in Tehran on Tuesday, Sheikh Naim Qassem said that in the book, he has tried to introduce the Leader’s thoughts and character.

“Iran takes steps based on specific objectives…,” the cleric said, adding, “The strategic views of Iran’s Leader have made the country powerful.”

He further praised Ayatollah Khamenei’s guidelines for Hezbollah in the fight against the Israeli regime, saying that the Leader’s remarks helped the Resistance Front become stronger and achieve “good victories”.

Written in Arabic and translated into Persian, Sheikh Qassem’s book contains 26 chapters featuring topics ranging from the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini’s thoughts, to the Islamic awakening, unity among Muslims, the role of Ayatollah Khamenei as a leader with deep knowledge of the international developments, etc.

A number of ranking officials also attended the ceremony, including Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami, member of the central council of Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Sheikh Hassan Baghdadi, member of Iran’s Expediency Council Mohammad Hossein Saffar Harandi, Cultural Deputy of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening Hamidreza Moqaddamfar, and Managing Director of the Tasnim News Agency Majid Qolizadeh.
