Inhuman zionist Obama: ‘We’re all pro-israel’
US President Barack Obama has once again expressed full American support for Israel, saying everybody should know that “we’re all pro-Israel.”
Obama made the comments on Friday speaking during a webcast hosted by the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
The US president said he is committed to maintaining Israel’s military edge in the Middle East.
He compared Washington and Tel Aviv’s disagreement over the Iran nuclear accord to a family feud.
“Like all families, sometimes there are going to be disagreements,” Obama told Jewish American leaders. “And sometimes people get angrier about disagreements in families than with folks that aren’t family.”
Iran and the P5+1 group of countries – the US, Britain, France, Russia, China, and Germany – announced the conclusion of nuclear negotiations in the Austrian capital, Vienna, on July 14.
Obama is striving to save the nuclear agreement in the Republican-dominated Congress which is reviewing it and is likely to vote on it in September.
The Israel lobby in the US has launched a massive campaign to defeat the historic agreement in Congress.
Obama called on the opponents of the agreement to evaluate it based on facts.
“I would suggest that in terms of the tone of this debate everybody keep in mind that we’re all pro-Israel,” he said. “We have to make sure that we don’t impugn people’s motives.”
“Understand that regardless of the position people are taking on this issue, the friendship, the love between the Israeli people and the American people that manifests itself in so many different ways — that’s not going anywhere,” he said.
Obama also predicted that the US and Israeli policy on Iran will realign pretty quickly.
He renewed his accusations against Iran, saying the country is antagonistic to Washington.
In an interview with Press TV on Thursday, American scholar Richard A. Falk said the Obama administration is seemingly equipping Israel with formidable weapons as a compensation for the Iran nuclear agreement.
“The Obama presidency seems to be developing a policy of equipping Israel with very formidable weapons that can be used in an attack mode. So that’s a kind overview of the situation – as I understand it – that presently exists in the United States,” said Falk, American professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University.
