Iraqi Warplanes Raid ISIL Positions West of Ramadi
Military sources said that scores of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists were killed or wounded in the Iraqi airstrike on their gathering centers in Western side of Ramadi, in Anbar province.
“The Iraqi air force carried out an airstrike on a bomb-making workshop of the ISIL in Khalid Ibn al-Waleed farm located in a village West of Ramadi,” Commander of the 18th Brigade of the Federal Police Shaker Alwan said.
“The Iraqi fighter jets’ strike resulted in the destruction of the workshop and killing of dozens of the terrorists,” he further added.
On Friday, military sources said that the Iraqi fighter jets’ attacks on the strongholds of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists near Ramadi resulted in the killing of at least seven militants and wounding of several others.
“The Iraqi Air Force destroyed hideouts of the ISIL militants in Khalidiya island which left at least seven terrorists killed and tens others wounded,” a statement by the military sources said.
