Iranian cleric calls for a unified anti-ISIL front
Senior Iranian jurisprudent slammed arrogant powers and the Zionists for the current issues in the world of Islam calling all Muslims to unify in a joint movement against ISIL.
Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, top Iranian Shia cleric, visited the Muslim community in the Azeri capital of Baku, stressed Islamic unity as one of the most important factors for confrontation with intrigues by the arrogant powers including Takfiri (excommunication) groups, ISIL and Buku Haram, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
In a meeting with the religious authroities of Azerbaijan and parliament members of the country, Iranian cleric hailed the affection of the Azeri people for Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and said,” Our unity agaisnt the enemies is quite necessary and an important way for boosting this unity is increasing near ties between the countries.”
Head of the Muslims bureau of Cacausus expressed satisfaction over the visit by Iranian scholar extending hopes that the incident will open new paths in Baku-Tehran mutual ties.
He demanded Ayatollah Noori Hamedani to extend the best regards of the Azeri religious figure for the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.
