Syrian Army Destroys Terrorists’ Hideouts in Aleppo Countryside

The Syrian army pounded the strongholds and positions of the Takfiri terrorists in the countryside of Aleppo.

The army units destroyed the ISIL terrorists’ hideouts in Arbid village near the Air Force Academy in Aleppo province.

The Syrian troops also hit the terrorists’ positions in Kafr Hamra village in Northwestern Aleppo.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more injured in fierce clashes with the Syrian forces.

Also in the past 24 hours, the Takfiri terrorists are planting landmines in the surrounding areas of Nabl and al-Zahra towns after they failed to conquer the two Shiite-populated towns in Aleppo countryside.

Some of the residents of the two towns who usually go for work to the suburban areas were killed and others severely injured after hitting the mines laid by Al-Nusra terrorists near their workplace outside al-Zahra.

It is more than four years now that Nabl and al-Zahra towns have been under the terrorists’ siege.

Elsewhere, tranquility returned to the towns of Fuaa and Kafraya in Idlib province as the army tightened grip over the terrorists in Zabadani region.

The terrorists’ attacks on Fuaa and Kafraya have been reduced and the conditions of the two cities have grown more stable now.

The Takfiri terrorists of Jeish al-Fath, meantime, are also trying to deceive the residents of the two towns, promising them money and basic staples if they open the city gates to them.

Since July, the Syrian popular defense forces have repeatedly repelled the Takfiri terrorists’ attacks on two Fuaa and Kafraya towns, and inflicted heavy damage and casualties on the militants.

The militants of the Jeish al-Fath terrorist group, an alliance of Al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham militant groups, have repeatedly attempted to sneak into the towns of Kafraya and Fuaa, but the popular forces foiled their attack.

Meantime, the Syrian army troops thwarted the militants’ attempt to sneak into a military airport in the countryside of Idlib on Tuesday.

The army repelled an infiltration attempt by terrorists of the so-called “Jeish al-Fath” into Abu al-Dhuhour Military Airport, which is located 50 km Southeast of Idlib city.

The terrorists infiltrated from the Eastern side of the airport, but were confronted by the army troops, sources said, adding that the army troops inflicted heavy losses on the militants.

Also, the Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance forces continued to gain ground in al-Zabadani region in Damascus province.

The forces seized a facility used by terrorists for making explosive devices in al-Hai al-Gharbi district in al-Zabadani, reports said.

Elsewhere, the Syrian government forces killed at least 24 terrorists in military operation in the coastal Province of Lattakia.

Some 24 terrorists were killed and 36 others injured in the military operation in al-Kabir village in the countryside of Lattakia, field sources said.

The sources added that a training camp of terrorists that come from Turkmenistan, a weapon cache, a communication station and a large number of vehicles were also destroyed.

Also, military sources said that the Syrian Armed Forces alongside the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement are pushing back the rebel groups from entire neighborhoods and districts in Zabadani region.

The sources said that the Syrian Army’s 63rd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division, Hezbollah, the National Defense Forces (NDF), and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) have continued their advance in various parts of Zabadani region, capturing more building blocks and militant hideouts that the rebel forces are clinging to in order to bypass complete surrender; FNA reported.
