10 Al-Nusra Terrorists Killed in Syrian Army’s Ambush in Sweida
The Syrian forces killed, at least, 10 Al-Nusra Front terrorists who were trying to seize parts of the village of Lahe’e in Northern Sweida.
The army also held 5 other Al-Nusra Front terrorists captive in Sweida.
The Takfiri terrorists had reportedly penetrated into Sweida from the neighboring Daraa province, but they were pushed back.
On Saturday, military sources said that the Syrian forces raided the ISIL Takfiri terrorists’ strongholds in the Northern territories of Sweida, and killed more than 26 militants in the fighting areas.
The sources said that the National Defense Forces (NDF) surprised the ISIL terrorists with a powerful assault on Al-Mu’az Hill in Northern Sweida, killing 26 militants and wounding some others.
According to military sources in the province, the National Defense Forces are attempting to cutoff the ISIL main supply route to the province, while recapturing the hilltops in Northern Sweida.
Last week, the Syrian government forces killed and injured a large group of ISIL terrorists in military operations in the Southern province of Sweida.
The army targeted the ISIL terrorists in al-Saqiyeh village in the Northeastern countryside of Sweida.
A large group of the ISIL terrorists were killed and injured in the operations. Militants’ vehicle with all weapons and ammunition inside it were also destroyed.
