Syrian army troops killed and injured scores of the foreign-backed Takfiri militants in the Southern Province of Daraa on Thursday.

The army targeted concentration centers of terrorists in Samlin village and the cities of Inkhel and Jassem in the Northwestern countryside of Daraa, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.

The army also targeted positions of terrorists from the so-called “Saif al-Sham Brigades” in Atman town, 4km North of Daraa city, leaving a group of them dead.

Meanwhile, the terrorist groups acknowledged on their social media pages the death of a number of their members, including the leader of the so-called “Osama Bin Zaid Brigade”, Rateb Anwar al-Hamid.

On Tuesday, the Syrian army conducted military operations in Daraa, killing and injuring a large group of terrorists.

The army troops targeted militants’ concentration centers in Tafas city, 13 km to the North of Daraa city, killing a group of terrorists, and destroying their weapons, a military source said.

The army also targeted hideouts of terrorists from al-Nusra Front and the so-called “Al-Muthanna Movement”, “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” and “Al-Omari Brigades” in Daraa al-Balad and Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhoods in Daraa city, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
