Armed bandits shoot two dead in southeastern Iran
Two people, including a civilian, have been killed in a shooting attack by armed bandits in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan-and-Baluchestan, a local official say.
Ali Moradi, the head of the public relations office of Sistan-and-Baluchestan’s education department, said Tuesday that the teacher lost his life when a group of bandits opened fire at security forces at a gas station in the city of Iranshahr.
A policeman, identified as Sobhani-nia, also lost his life in the shooting assault.
Sistan-and-Baluchestan Province has witnessed insecurity on a number of occasions due to the presence and activities of criminal gangs there.
