Humanitarian Aid Convoys Arrive in the Damascus and Idleb Countryside

Military sources in Kafraya and Al-Fou’a in Idleb countryside and Al-Zabadani and Madaya in Damascus Countryside said convoys of U.N. vehicles arrived to these areas carrying humanitarian aid on Sunday.

The sources said 10 lorries carrying aid entered Kafraya and Al-Fou’a, the two towns which were blockaded by the Islamist groups before the implementation of a ceasefire agreement in early September.

According to a SANA reporter in Damascus Countryside, 21 lorries carrying humanitarian aid entered Madaya and two other villages near Al-Zabadani, adding that the operation was supervised by the U.N., the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
