Iran’s Shamkhani Due in Pakistan Wednesday
Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani will leave Tehran for Islamabad tomorrow for a two-day official visit.
Shamkhani is making the visit at the invitation of General Naseer Janjua, the Pakistani Premier’s National Security Adviser, within the framework of political and security collaborations between the two neighboring countries.
During his trip, Shamkhani will meet his Pakistani counterpart as well as other high-ranking political, security, and defense officials.
He is scheduled to confer with Pakistan’s authorities on issues of mutual interest including regional developments, combating terrorism, border issues, and executive frameworks for promotion of mutual cooperation.
