Rabid-dog Israeli Soldiers Wound Forty-Six Citizens in Gaza
Terrorist Israeli occupation forces (IOF) showered peaceful demonstrators near the borders with Gaza Strip with live and rubber-coated bullets and teargas canisters wounding 46 of them on Friday.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the health ministry spokesman, said that 17 of the casualties were wounded with live bullets while 19 were injured with rubber-coated bullets and burns as a result of direct hits by gas canisters while 10 choked on tear gas.
He said that six paramedics were among the injured, adding that an ambulance vehicle was also damaged in the heavy fire. He added two journalists were among the casualties one in eastern Khan Younis and the other in northern Gaza.
Local sources earlier told the PIC reporter that five young men were injured with live bullets east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip, adding that the number rose to nine by the evening.
The sources said that a photojournalist was hit with a bullet in his chest.
