The Syrian Army Advancing in Aleppo’s Countryside
Syria’s army units, backed by national defense forces, retook control of the villages, including Jamaymah, Hadidah and Maryameen, in Aleppo’s southern countryside over the past two days.
Also on Sunday, Syrian forces retook control of the two other villages of Shalashil and Tel Dadeen, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists who were there.
The new gains come two weeks after Syrian armed forces, backed by Russian air support, launched a large-scale military offensive against Takfiri terrorists in the southern countryside of Aleppo.
In recent days, Syrian army units and popular fighters have engaged the extremists on several fronts in the country.
Also battlefield sources announced on Monday that most of the militant positions, mainly those of ISIL, have come under large-scale operations of the Syrian army, popular forces and Hezbollah in the Eastern and Southeastern sides of Aleppo, FNA reports.
The terrorist positions in al-Hader, Kifr Halab, Khalsah, Sheikh Ahmad, al-Muqbila, al-Muflisa and Deir Hafer have massively been stormed by the Syrian army, Hezbollah fighters and National Defense Forces (NDF), the sources said.
The Syrian forces’ operation against the ISIL Takfiri terrorists came on the road between al-Rahmania and al-Taana to the Northeast of Aleppo city, sources added.
Also dozens of the foreign-backed Takfiri militants were killed in several military operations across the Syrian province of Hama.
Syrian forces killed tens of Takfiri terrorists in the villages of al-Ankawi and al-Lataminah and the town of Kafr Zita in Hama province.
On Sunday, fierce fighting erupted between the Syrian army, backed by popular defense forces, and terrorists in Hama province, leaving tens of militants dead and injured.
On Sunday, the Syrian forces clashed with a large number of terrorists who assaulted from four axes on the area surrounding Tel Hawash, al-Qabo, al-Baneh and Tel al-Sakhr to the North of Kafr Nabbudah town.Dozens of terrorists were killed and injured in the clashes.
