12 injuries among Palestinians in clashes in Tulkarem
12 Palestinians got injured by Israeli gunfire whereas dozens of others choked due to suffocation by Israeli tear gas in the ongoing clashes in the northern West Bank.
Palestinian Ministry of Health revealed that among the wounded there were five injuries by live bullets, five others by rubber bullets and two by stones. All of them were taken to governmental hospitals in the city of Tulkarem. The injuries were described as stable.
The PIC reporter pointed out that clashes erupted at noon on Tuesday in Shuwakeh district and in the vicinity of Khudouri University in north and west of Tulkarem city.
Palestinian school students threw stones at Israeli soldiers, while scores of students suffered suffocation due to Israeli tear gas, the PIC reporter said.
Israeli forces also quelled on Tuesday a student march near Ofer military camp to the west of Ramallah leading to suffocation among dozens of Palestinians.
