Veep: Tribalism, Takfiri thoughts non-existent in Islamic beliefs
First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri said in a phone talk with Iraqi Prime Minister Heydar al-Ebadi on Wednesday that tribalism and Takfiri terrorist tendencies are totally unrelated with Islamic beliefs.
The Iranian first vice president set example of the massive rally on the 40th day after the martyrdom of the 3rd Shi’a Imam, Hussein ibn-Ali (AS), ‘Arbaeen’ when millions of Muslims peacefully walk from various towns and cities in Iraq and beyond to Karbala and return to their cities and countries safe and sound as a good example for true Islamic behavior.
‘That peaceful massive rally amid exemplary security is also considered great political success for the Iraqi government and nation,’ said Jahangiri.
Meanwhile, Jahangiri asked the Iraqi prime minister to assist those Iraqi contractor companies faced with problems to receive the cost of their services delivered in Iraq.
The Iraqi prime minister said in the phone conversation that pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (AS) is an absolute right for the entire Shi’a Muslims and the world Muslims and hosting Imam Hussein’s pilgrims is a security success for the Iraqi government and nation, and a great pride for them.
‘The Iraqi government spends its entire efforts aimed at ensuring the security of Imam Hussein’s pilgrims and their welfare throughout their stay in Iraq,’ the Iraqi premier said.
Heydar al-Ebadi also promised to order all concerned Iraqi ministries to speed up bureacratic process of the Iranian firms to receive cost of their services delivered in Iraq.
