Abu Marzouk: Jerusalem Intifada will continue until liberation
Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk said that Jerusalem Intifada will continue until final liberation, calling for fighting against Israeli occupation.
During the Annual Arab General Conference held in Beirut in support of the Palestinian people’s intifada, Abu Marzouk said that the first Palestinian intifada had resulted in the Oslo Accords and the Palestinian Authority.
However, the second Palestinian intifada led to the Israeli disengagement from the Gaza Strip, and the Israeli separation wall in occupied West Bank, he continued.
The third intifada, Abu Marzouk added, was ignited to end the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem and the West Bank, to liberate all Palestinian prisoners from Israel’s prisons, and to end the siege on Gaza.
The senior leader in Hamas Movement said that the ongoing intifada mainly aims at uniting all the Palestinian people.
“The Jerusalem Intifada needs support from the Arab and Islamic countries,” Abu Marzouk stressed.
