Syrian Army Hits ISIL Terrorist Sites Heavily in Deir Ezzur City

ISIL’s strongholds in various neighborhoods of the militant-held city of Deir Ezzur came under attack by the Syrian Army and the country’s popular forces, military sources said Monday, adding that nearly 28 militants were killed in the pro-government forces’ assaults.

Several building, used by the ISIL terrorists as explosive-device making workshops and ammunition depot in the neighborhoods of al-Hwaiqa, al-Ummal and al-Siyasia bridge, were destroyed in the government forces’ offensives, the sources said.

The sources further added that in addition to heavy death toll of the ISIL militants, their military hardware was also seriously destroyed.

Early battlefield reports said also that the Syrian Armed Forces on Monday carried out several operations against the ISIL’s concentration centers in al-Mayadeen city, and killed nearly 40 terrorists.

The ISIL strongholds near Aisha School and Conserved Food Factory and in al-Ashara in al- Mayadeen city came under attack by the Syria forces.

Reports said the terrorists sustained heavy casualties, including 40 losses of lives, and their ammunition depot and explosive device-making workshops were also destroyed in the attack.
