50 Palestinians injured by Israeli bullet fire in funeral of Resistance Martyr
Dozens of Palestinian civilians were attacked and injured by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Occupied Jerusalem afternoon Thursday as they marched in the funeral procession of 21-year-old Yahya Taha, shot dead earlier in the day.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said 50 Palestinians were injured during clashes that burst out in Jerusalem’s northwestern town of Qatana.
The organization said six among the casualties sustained live bullet wounds and seven others were injured by rubber bullet fire. 37 more civilians choked on tear gas in the same clashes.
An outburst of violence followed the funeral procession of 21-year-old Yahya Taha who was fatally shot by the Israeli occupation soldiers in Qatana village on early Thursday morning.
