Iraqi premier demands withdrawal of Turkish troops
The Iraqi Premier, Haidar al-Abadi, has demanded the immediate withdrawal of the Turkish troopers form the Iraqi soil.
According to IRIB World Service, the Iraqi premier has issued a statement, pointing out that the Turkish armed forces have entered the Iraqi soil without the permission of the central Iraqi government, and should swiftly pull out of Iraq.
He urged Turkey to observe neighborly relations and to pull out Turkish troops from Iraqi soil at once.
According to the announcement made by the Iraqi administration; the entry of Turkish forces to Iraq’s soil without the permission of the central Iraqi government is a dangerous move in violation of the national sovereignty of Iraq, which doesn’t match the principle of good neighborly relations.
Hundred and thirty Turkish troopers entered Iraqi city of Mosul for what is referred to as training Kurdish Pishmarga forces.
