Speaker: Supreme Leader’s letter, basis of new interaction of Islamic world and west

6 December 2015 16:24

Speaker of the Iranian Majlis (Parliament) said the Leader of Islamic Umamh and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s letter for the western youths has set up a new foundation for interactions of the Islamic world and the west based on rationality, reality and respect.
According to IRIB World Service, Ali Larijani added on Sunday that the Leader of Islamic Umamh and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s letter for the western youths pushed off the curtains of modern hypocrisy which has been hidden behind the arrogant spirit of big powers and exposed important parts of realities.
Larijani made it clear that the world of Islam has always struggled against ignorant violence and blind bigotries, adding that the terrorist calamities in the region have been caused by the behind-the-scene plots of dictatorial deceivers and the spying agencies of the big powers.
Larijani also said unauthorized military intervention in the Middle East conflicts will only help spread terrorism.
He noted during an open session of Majlis on Sunday “The fight against terrorism does not require the deployment of troops which is usually done to achieve other goals. Such deployment, per se, will contribute to the spread of terrorism.”
The Iranian Majlis speaker also warned that the deployment of Turkish forces near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, which is under the control of ISIL Takfiri terrorists, would only lead to more insecurity and crisis across the region.
He said Turkey’s military intervention in Iraq, which comes despite the Iraqi government’s objection, pursues no other goal but to justify terrorist activities in Mosul.
Larijani stated that some countries see regional chaos as a means to fulfill their plans but such a policy would backfire.
The Iranian official noted Iran favors peace and security in the region and calls on other countries to engage in a genuine fight against terrorism.
