Haneyya: Blood of our martyrs will not go in vain
Deputy Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haneyya stressed Tuesday evening that the Palestinian martyrs’ blood will not go in vain.
During a phone conversation with the martyr Anas Hamad’s father, Haneyya said that the escalated resistance operations in the West Bank reflect the Palestinian people’s adherence to their land and roots.
Anas Hamad was shot and killed by Israeli forces earlier this month for allegedly ramming his car into a group of Israeli soldiers, injuring two of them.
Sheikh Hamad, Anas’s father, is a leader in Hamas movement who was detained more than once in Israeli jails.
The Ministry of Health said earlier that the number of slain Palestinians from early October till the first week of December reached 115, including 25 children.
