Syrian Army Forces Advancing towards Deir Hafer in Eastern Aleppo

The latest reports from Aleppo said on Thursday the Syrian army and popular forces are marching on terrorists’ positions around the town of Deir Hafer in the Eastern parts of the province.

Field sources said the Syrian army, National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah crushed the defense lines of the terrorists in the Eastern parts of Aleppo province and made remarkable advance in the Deir Hafer region.

The Syrian army and its allies are now closing in on the terrorists’ positions in the town, approaching Deir Hafer from several directions.

Also other reports said that the Russian strikers heavily pounded the terrorists’ gathering centers in Darat Izza, Bashkoy, Keshtaar, Kafarina and Azaz regions Northwest of Aleppo province, killing dozens of militants and destroying a large number of their weapons and equipment.

Reports also said the Syrian airstrikes hit terrorists’ positions and movements in Jarouf, Ein al-Beida, al-Bab and Anadan in Aleppo province.

On Wednesday, the Syrian army killed a senior commander of the “Thuwar al-Sham Brigades” terrorist group in a strategic town surrounded by the government forces in Aleppo province.

The Syrian army killed Abdul Rahim al-Hamoud, a senior commander of Thuwar al-Sham Brigades in Khan Touman town, sources said early on Wednesday.

Abdul Rahim al-Hamoud was a defected lieutenant colonel.
