Google testing password-free logins
The US search giant Google has announced it’s testing a way for users to log in to services using smart phones without a password. According to Google, users need to authorize their mobile devices to allow them to log in with them. Then they would put their Gmail address into a log-in page. Afterward, a notification will appear on mobile phone asking users if they are trying to sign in from another device. The company says users can still opt to use their password when logging in.
